History of afifa foundation

afifa foundation was founded in 2010 at Nagpur, Maharashtra, by Er. Agha Mashkoor & his colleagues. On 25 December 2010, in Nagpur, some engineers, doctors, technologists and social workers met and gave an organizational framework which, in 2016, at the Kishanganj, Bihar meet, was accepted & all decided to work for science, technology and intervention for sustainable development at a national level and named it as afifa foundation. The broad objectives and action plan for the organization was created and discussed in detail there. The Kishanganj meet was attended by 25 intellectuals from Maharashtra and Bihar. There were general sessions and also group discussions for comprehending the role of S&T in our social development. Five different groups belonging to Education, Health, Environment, Agriculture, Women Empowerment and Digital Initiatives, discussed various relevant issues. Particularly, they considered the possibility and practicality of indigenization in various scientific arenas.
