Meet Our Founder
Er. Agha Ahmad
Mr. Agha Ahmad founded the afifa foundation in the year of 2016, to fight national poverty and provide sustainable development assistance for weaker sections of the society through science, technology and innovation. Since 2016, he is working as a President of afifa foundation, and worked for more than dozen of innovation projects. He placed a special focus on working alongside poor girls and women because he believes, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to lift whole families and entire communities out of poverty.
He is one of the founder members of Vibha Vani India. From the last four years, he has been working as an Executive Member (National Governing Body) of Vibha Vani India. Vibha Vani India is an Umbrella organization of more than 1000 credible nongovernmental organizations spread across India. This is a development initiative of Vijnana Bharati to form the largest people’s movement of science oriented social organizations and institutions for Nation building through “scientific interventions in social actions for Transforming India.
He was a topper in matriculation (10th board) from Maharashtra (India), and completed his bachelor degree in engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur. And continued certified program from Harvard University in Entrepreneurship, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue in Interreligious Dialogue to Strengthen Peace Reconciliation and Social Cohesion, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation in Agriculture Development.
In 2020, he was honoured to receive an invitation from the Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council to attend the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Recently he is also a Senior Engineer at AIIMS Rishikesh and living in Rishikesh, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, India
